WhatsApp Web – WhatsApp’s New Website Browser Version

What is it:

The revolutionary mobile messaging service has come up with another update after the most virally discussed Blue Tick Mark,

After this new update users will be able to access messages from system browser.  The new website version will mirror the phone messages/chats and chat groups to the web browser.

This was officially announced this in their Facebook blog post.

The blog post says: “Today, for the first time, millions of you will have the ability to use WhatsApp on your web browser”

Why:

The best thing about new website version is that users no longer have to check the mobile phone to read messages, they can read it right from the web browser itself.

How to:



Follow the below step by step instructions to start using WhatsApp Web.

Step 1: Go to the respective Mobile App Store and update WhatsApp to the latest version. Right now this feature is available for Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Nokia S60

Step 2: Open WhatsApp and access WhatsApp Web

BlackBerry 10: Swipe down from top of the screen – WhatsApp Web

Step 3: Go to https://web.whatsapp.com/ in your website browser (Right now website version works only in Google Chrome).

Step 5: Once successfully connected you get a success window like the below in your phone screen.
